Being a newborn and baby photographer here in the Upper Valley I was delighted to install these beauties at @gentlelandingmidwifery ! We’re so lucky to have a free standing birth center here in the Upper Valley lead by some amazing dedicated women. These days, I am focusing my newborn work in people’s homes as lifestyle sessions. I feel like folks are more comfortable in their own homes (especially after just having a baby!) and also I can get more images that show your baby’s life as it is right now, that the super posed stuff just doesn’t capture for me. If you’re interested in newborn portraits, I would at your home for a lifestyle session. Lifestyle sessions don’t include formal posing or props and are a more organic reflection of this time right now. I do my newborn work on weekdays.  These sessions last about 1-2 hours.   I like to photograph babies under 10-14 days old. I would want to schedule your session about one week after your due date (with the understanding that we may need to change it).
